FAQ | Moodjig Puzzles & Story Experiences

What is a Moodjig puzzle?

A Moodjig is a physical jigsaw puzzle paired with a guided digital story.

As you assemble the puzzle, parts of the narrative unlock, revealing the artwork and story together.

It’s designed to be slower, quieter, and more immersive than a traditional puzzle.

Is Moodjig a physical or digital product?

Moodjig is a physical puzzle delivered to your door.

The story and reference artwork are experienced digitally as you build, using your phone or tablet. No app download is required.

How does the digital story work?

Each Moodjig includes a digital companion experience accessed via a private page.

As you complete the puzzle:

  • the story becomes available

  • the final artwork is revealed

  • the experience concludes once the puzzle is finished

Everything is designed to support the physical build, not distract from it.

Is there a printed reference image included?

No.

Moodjig puzzles do not include a printed reference image.

The artwork is intentionally revealed through the digital experience as you progress.

This is part of the experience, not a limitation.

Do I need to create an account or download an app?

Yes

To access the digital content you will need to use your Shopify account details.

The experience runs in your browser and works on modern phones and tablets.

How difficult are the puzzles?

Moodjig puzzles are designed to be challenging but approachable.

They’re not speed puzzles. They’re meant to be completed slowly, with attention and intention.

Can I replay the story or experience again later?

Yes.

Once unlocked, the experience remains accessible on your device, so you can revisit the story or artwork at any time.

Is Moodjig suitable as a gift?

Absolutely.

Moodjig puzzles are designed to be given as gifts — especially for people who enjoy puzzles, stories, history, or quiet, thoughtful experiences.

How long does a Moodjig experience take?

That depends on how you approach it.

Most people complete a Moodjig over several sessions.

It’s designed to be paused, returned to, and enjoyed at your own pace.

What makes Moodjig different from other puzzles?

Moodjig isn’t about speed, competition, or completion time.

It’s about:

  • atmosphere

  • storytelling

  • focus

  • and the feeling of something gradually revealing itself
